Sabi

From neglected to loved. Sabi...ADOPTED

Sasha

The day I met her i fell in love. She was a hot little mess...you couldn't tell where the massive knotted matts of fur ended and her skin began and you can only imagine what her tiny little self had been through. But despite it all, she loved everyone she met. She must have had to defend herself at one point because she wasn't as great with other dogs. If they were very calm she was fine. If they approached too quickly or she felt threatened, she was a completely differen t dog and it wasn't pretty. So...we worked with her and slow introductions and she slowly came to know that she was safe. When we felt she was ready, we posted her for adoption. A few meet and greets and one special one. They knew her past and we wanted to make sure it was a good fit so we had her potential new parents assume fostering her. We found out our little girl here was a bit of an escape artist. She had her own little room with a gate for when her potential parents had to go out and Sasha Houdini managed to get over it. Bigger gate, consultation with our behavioral specialist, some modifications and....there she was...out again. But...they didn't give up. They gave her the love and security she needed while she adapted to her new surroundings.

And guess what?? Those potential parents just adopted her. LOVE wins.

Sasha...ADOPTED!

So I'm beginning to think there's a lot to be said about this online dating thing. And when we met it was like we've known each other forever. So needless to say...I became family.

Yep..ADOPTED! Me...Serena...Meet my new peeps.

Susan

Sometimes....it's just a perfect fit! Our 3H4P alum Marley who was adopted in July just recently welcomed his new sister Susan with open arms. Our little Susan is now called Miracle and these 2 are...well...no words needed really...

Susan - ADOPTED and loving every minute of it!

Sansa

I'm really not sure of it was my 'please take me home' look that won her over...or my ears   but whatever it was I'm glad I can now call her mine.

Sansa - ADOPTED!!
